Abstract:
The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to test and compare the newly modified biochars efficiency in removing metal(loid)s from water of by using amorphous manganese oxide (AMO). The studied metal(loid)s were arsenic, cadmium and lead in its dissolved form As(V), Cd(II) and Pb(II). The sorption was measured by solving 1mM of the metal(loid) in an aqueous solution.
