Study of the interaction of selected natural compounds with non-canonical DNA structures
Abstract:
Nekanonické struktury DNA mají v buňce mnoho významných funkcí. Jako atraktivní oblast výzkumu se jeví přírodní ligandy, které jsou schopné tyto struktury v buňkách specificky stabilizovat. Tato práce se věnuje interakcím vybraných přírodních látek - konkrétně alkaloidů se strukturami DNA. Pro monitorování interkací byly použity spektrální metody CD, UV-Vis, fluorescenční a NMR spektroskopie.
Abstract:
Non-canonical DNA structures have many essential functions in the cell. Natural ligands that can specifically stabilize these structures in cells appear to be an attractive area of research. This work deals with the interactions of selected natural substances - specifical alkaloids with DNA structures.
