The Election of the President of Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce nás provází souhrnem hlav státu našeho území od roku 1918 až po současnost, kde se zejména soustřeďuje na aktuální stav téměř čerstvě zavedené přímé volby, od návrhů zákonů na zavedení přímé volby, o kterou se politické strany snažily více než před deseti lety, až po schválení tohoto zákona a následné zavedení způsobu volby prezidenta v našem státě, kde si hlavu státu volí lid. Příčinou této změny jsou především nejasnosti, které provázely volby minulé. Přímá volba prezidenta byla nedávno velmi diskutovaným tématem, proto jsem si také zpracování daného tématu vybrala. V první části bude bakalářská práce pojednávat zejména o historii, tj. voleb a prezidentů, kteří panovali na našem území. v druhé části práce se tedy seznámíme s průběhem volby, kandidáty na post prezidenta republiky, jejich kampaněmi, spory, které tuto volbu provázely, volbu jako takovou, která proběhla v lednu letošního roku, až po zvolení nového prezidenta republiky, který se nedávno ujal kanceláře prezidenta, a to v březnu letošního roku.

Abstract:

Bachelor tsesis describes our summary of heads of state of our country from 1918 to the present, which is particularly focusing on the current state of almost newly introduced direct elections, the bill to introduce direct elections, by which the political parties trying for more than a decade ago, after approval of this Act and the subsequent introduction of how the presidential election in our country where the head of state elected people. These changes are mainly uncertainties surrounding the elections past. Direct election of the president was recently very discussed topic, so I also work on the topic chosen. In the first part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the history, ie elections and presidents who ruled our country. In the second part of the bachelor thesis is thus acquainted with the course of elections, candidates for the post of President of the republic, their campaigns, disputes that accompany that choice, the choice as one that took place in January this year to elect a new president, who recently took tge President´s office in March this year.
