Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je prozkoumat zkušenost nekriminálních pedofilů s vlastním procesem coming outu. Této oblasti nebyla doposud věnována dostatečná pozornost, uskutečněný kvalitativní výzkum je tak explo-rativního charakteru. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty informace týkající se pedofilie, větší prostor je věnován jejím diagnostickým kritériím. Dále jsou zde obsaženy poznatky ohledně vývoje minoritní sexuální identity, stigmatizace a vnějšího coming outu. K oslovení potenciálních participantů bylo využito fóra Československé pedofilní komunity ČEPEK. Výzkumný soubor tvoří pět mužů ve věku 16 až 33 let, kteří se sami identifikova-li jako homosexuální pedofilové. Metodou sběru dat byl zvolen polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Rozhovory byly analyzovány za pomoci interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy. Výsledkem je pět identifikovaných témat: „Vývoj pedofilní identity“, „Faktory usnadňující proces coming outu“, „Předsudky“, „Strach“ a „Zkušenost se sebeodhalením“. Možné interpretace, limity a výzkumná doporučení jsou obsahem diskuze.

Abstract:

The aim of the master thesis is to explore the experience of non-criminal pedophiles with their coming out process. This topic has not been thoroughly researched yet, the qualitative research I conducted has therefore an explorative character. Theoretical part of the thesis consist of a review of the information about pedophilia, with the emphasis being put on diagnostic criteria. Furthermore, the theoretical part covers the development of sexual identity of minorities, stigmatization and self-disclosure. The participants of the study have been recruited among the members of Czechoslovakian Community of Pedophiles (ČEPEK). The research sample consists of five men between the age of 16 to 33, who have been previously self-identified as pedophiles. The data collection method has been a semistructurized interview. The interviews have been analysed through the method of the interpretative phenomenological analysis. The results identified five main topics: „identity development of pedophiles“, „supportive factors in the proces of coming out“, „prejudice“, „fear“, „self-disclosure experience“. Possible interpretations, limits of the research and various recommendations towards future researchers all together form a discussion.
