Education of prisoners in confinement

Abstract:

Tématem této práce jsou vzdělávací procesy ve výkonu trestu pro odsouzené jako klíčový prostředek k přípravě odsouzených na reintegraci. Je rozdělena do tří částí. První část je zaměřena na účel a funkci výkonu trestu, roli vězeňské služby a vývoj českého vězeňství. Dále je zde znázorněna struktura českého vězeňství a uzavřena je typizací věznic. Druhá, hlavní část práce se zabývá druhy a průběhem fungování vzdělávacích procesů ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Je zaměřena na dva základní procesy vzdělávání. Tím prvním je vzdělávání ve školských vzdělávacích střediscích. Je zde popsána struktura tohoto vzdělávacího systému a výčet klíčových postav, zajišťujících tento způsob vzdělávání. Tím druhým jsou programy zacházení jako hlavní prostředek edukace a přípravy na reintegraci odsouzených. Zde je popsán způsob tvorby programu zacházení, jejich obsah a výčet odborných pracovníků, podílejících se na jeho tvorbě a realizaci. Závěrečná, praktická část se zabývá případovou analýzou odsouzených a zhodnocením závěrů této analýzy. Obsahuje 15 otázek, položených dvaceti odsouzeným, statistické vyhodnocení jejich odpovědí a komentář, zhodnocující výsledky každé odpovědi.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is educational processes in prison for convicts as a key tool to prepare convicts for reintegration. It is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on the purpose and function of the serving a sentence, the role of the prison service and development of the Czech prisons. Further, there is shown the structure of the Czech prisons and is closed by the typification of the prisons. Second, main part of the thesis deals with kinds and process of functioning of educational processes in serving of a custodial sentence. It is focused on two basic processes of education. The first one is education in school education centers. There is described the structure of this educational system and list of key characters, ensuring this way of education. The second one are the treatment programs as the main tool of education and preparation for reintegration of the convicts. There is described the way of creation of the treatment program, its content and list of professionals involved in its creation and realization. The final, practical part deals with the case study of convicts and evaluation of conclusions of this analysis. It contains 15 questions asking twenty convicts, statistical evaluation of their answers and commentary, evaluating the results of every answer.
