The Use of Events in Wine Tourism - Exploring the Dobšice Wine Cellars

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaobírá tématem využití eventu ve vinařské turistice. Teoretická část obsahuje rešerše odborné literatury a zdrojů, které se váží k tématu public relations, eventů a cestovního ruchu v oblasti vinařské turistiky. V praktické části je analyzován event "Putování po dobšických sklípcích" za použití sekundárních dat analýzy předchozích ročníků. Jako dalších analytických nástrojů je použito dotazníkového šetření mezi návštěvníky akce a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů z řad místních vinařů ze Spolku dobšických vinařů a se starostou obce Dobšice, kteří tento event pořádají. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda je event "Putování po dobšických sklípcích" pro návštěvníky této akce atraktivní. Zjistit, proč místní vinaři a obec tento event pořádá a zda plánují v této tradici pokračovat. Výstupem je vyhodnocení celé akce a to zejména z pohledu návštěvníků a vinařů. Na závěr jsou navržena doporučení ke zlepšení příštího ročníku.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the use of events in wine tourism. The theoretical part includes a literature search relating to public relations, events, and tourism, particu-larly wine tourism. In the practical part, the event "Exploring Dobšice cellars" is analyzed secondary data in the form of analyzes of previous years are used. Other analytical tools include a questionnaire survey conducted among the visitors of the event and interviews with local vintners from the Association of Dobšice vintners and the mayor of Dobšice who organize this event. The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether the event "Exploring Dobšice cellars" is attractive for its visitors. An additional goal is to find out why local vintners and the village organize this event and whether they would like to keep this tradition alive. The outcome of this work is event evaluation made particularly from the perspective of visitors and vintners. Finally, recommendations are made to improve the event taking place next year.
