Three Choruses by Alois Haba on a text by Vitezslav Nezval

Abstract:

V práci se věnuji třem sborovým cyklům Aloise Háby na slova Vítězslava Nezvala (op. 42, op. 43 a op. 44). Zabývám se možnými okolnostmi vzniku těchto cyklů, rekonstrukcí motivů, jež mohly vést k výběru Nezvalových textů a popisu autografů. Součástí práce je také hudební analýza op. 43, vycházející z principů schenkerovské analýzy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the three choruses of Alois Haba on a text by Vitezslav Nezval (op. 42, op. 43 a op. 44). The thesis is concerned with possible surroundings of these choruses’ creation and with the reconstruction of motives which could lead to the choice of Nezval’s texts and autographs’ description. The important part of the work is also musical analysis of op. 43, resulting from the principles of schenker’s analysis.
