Zhodnocení dopadů konání vybraných eventů v Hlavním městě Praze na rozvoj cestovního ruchu: případové studie Pražského Majálesu a Prague Food Festivalu

The evaluation of Prague's Majáles and Prague Food Festival's impact on development of tourism in the capital city of the Czech Republic- Prague

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zhodnocením ekonomických dopadů Pražského Majálesu (Open – Air festivalu) a Prague Food Festivalu na cestovní ruch Hlavního města Prahy v roce 2018. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením problematiky cestovního ruchu, eventů, event tourismu a event marketingu. Analýza dat v praktické části, získaná z dotazníkového šetření doložila, že tyto eventy jsou úspěšné a navyšují návštěvnost Prahy v dnech konání akcí. Návštěvnost Pražského Majálesu je vyšší než u Prague Food Festivalu, zároveň oba tyto eventy jsou hlavním důvodem a motivem Prahu navštívit z pohledu účastníků. Z těchto výsledků lze konstatovat, že oba tyto eventy podporují cestovní ruch Prahy. Ekonomický vliv návštěvnosti je v této práci také vyhodnocen pomocí aplikace http://www.kulkal.cz/, která umožňuje výpočet založený na certifikované metodice pro výpočet ekonomických dopadů kulturních organizací. Software této aplikace vznikl díky projektu Mapování kulturních a kreativních průmyslů v ČR. Tento program je financován z Programu aplikovaného výzkumu a vývoje národní a kulturní identity (NAKI) formou dotace Ministerstva kultury ČR, aktualizováno s daty ČSÚ listopad 2015.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on evaluation of Prague´s Majáles (Open- Air festival) and Prague Food Festival and its impact on tourism in the capital city of the Czech Republic, Prague in 2018. The theoretical part focuses on explanation of tourism, events, event tourism and event marketing. The data analysis in practical part, which was obtained from the questionnaire, proves that these events are successful and the number of visitors throughout the duration of the festivals in Prague was higher, the number of visitors on Majáles was higher than on Prague Food Festival. Concurrently both events are the main reason to visit Prague. These conclusions can be considered, that both events improve tourism in Prague.The economic impact of visitors in Prague on these festivals is also evaluated using the application http://www.kulkal.cz/, which allows calculation based on certified methodology to calculate the economic impacts of cultural organizations. The software of this application was created thanks to the Mapping of Cultural and Creative Industries in the Czech Republic. This program is funded by the Program of Applied Research and Development of National and Cultural Identity (NAKI) in the form of a subsidy from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, updated with CZSO data November 2015.
