Diplomová práce se zabývá klavírní skladbou Variace a fuga na Händelovo téma op. 24 Johannesa Brahmse. Obsahuje kapitoly o klavírní tvorbě tohoto skladatele a zařazuje rozebírané dílo do jejich kontextu. Nalézá také jisté podobnosti s klavírním odkazem Fryderyka Chopina a poukazuje na rozdílné pojetí hudby Johannesa Brahmse a Franze Liszta. Abstract:
This thesis deals with piano composition Variations and Fugue on a Theme of Händel op. 24 by Johannes Brahms. Chapters on piano works of this composer are included and the analysed composition is set into its context. This thesis also shows similarities with the piano legacy of Fryderyk Chopin and it points out different approach to music by Johannes Brahms and Franz Liszt. The focus is put on the …more
