Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématikou pozůstalostních inventářů a měšťanských testamentů. Analýzou pramene se práce snaží ukázat způsoby práce s prameny této povahy. Výsledky práce ukazují způsoby a postupy, které rakovnická městská kancelář využívala pro vedení knih zaznamenávajících pozůstalostní inventáře a testamentů. Práce také naznačuje možnou stratifikaci obyvatelstva ve městě a komparuje ji s dalšími městy v království v podobném období. Podobně se práce snaží na konkrétních příkladech přiblížit vnímání smrti z pozice tehdejších měšťanů.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the subject of survivor inventories and middle class testaments. By an analysis of the source, the thesis tries to show the ways of working with sources of this nature. The results of the work show the ways and procedures used by the Rakovnik municipal office for keeping records of survivor inventories and testaments. The thesis also suggests a possible stratification of the population in the city and compares it with other cities in the kingdom in a similar period. Similarly, the thesis tries to approach the perception of death on concrete examples from the position of burghers of that time.
