Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá studiem rozpustnosti přechodných kovů v systému Bi2O2Se a vlivu koncentrace Mn jako dopantu na termoelektrické (TE) vlastnosti Bi2O2Se. Byly připraveny polykrystalické vzorky Bi2-xVxO2Se (x = 0,02; 0,2) Bi2-xNixO2Se (x = 0,02; 0,2), Bi2-xFexO2Se (x = 0,01; 0,02; 0,1; 0,2; 0,3) a Bi2-xMnxO2Se (x = 0; 0,01; 0,02; 0,1; 0,2; 0,3; 0,4; 0,5). Vzorky byly charakterizovány rentgenovou difrakční analýzou. Byla na nich měřena teplotní závislost měrné elektrické vodivosti, Seebeckova koeficientu a tepelné vodivosti. Z těchto dat byl vypočítán výkonový faktor a parametr termoelektrické účinnosti. Na vybraných vzorcích byla provedena analýza pomocí skenovacího elektronového mikroskopu, energiově disperzní spektroskopie a měřeno Hallovo napětí. Rozdílné průběhy termoelektrických vlastností měřených vzorků byly vysvětleny existencí různých bodových defektů.

Abstract:

In this work, we studied solubility of transition metals in Bi2O2Se system. We also studied effects of varying concentration of Mn doping on thermoelectric properties of Bi2O2Se. Samples of polycrystalline Bi2-xVxO2Se (x = 0,02; 0,2) Bi2-xNixO2Se (x = 0,02; 0,2), Bi2-xFexO2Se (x = 0,01; 0,02; 0,1; 0,2; 0,3) a Bi2-xMnxO2Se (x = 0; 0,01; 0,02; 0,1; 0,2; 0,3; 0,4; 0,5) were prepared. Samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. Temperature dependences of electrical conductivity, Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity were measured. Obtained experimental data were used to calculate power factor and ZT of those samples. Specific samples were also chosen for SEM and EDX analysis. Those samples were also used for measuring of Hall voltage. Differences in TE properties of measured samples were credited to existence of various point defects.
