Diplomová práce se zabývá stavbami střelnic v souvislosti s ochranou životního prostředí. Práce popisuje jednotlivá řízení, kterými musí záměr střelnice před vlastní realizací projít, tj. územním plánováním, posuzováním vlivů na životní prostředí, územním řízením, stavebním řízením a řízením o povolení provozu střelnice.
