Opavian jazz scene between 1989-2000

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na popsání opavské jazzové scény v devadesátých letech, konkrétně 1989-2000. Klade si za cíl definovat prostředí, ve kterém se scéna rozvíjela, popsat kapely a osobnosti, které se zde měly možnost rozvinout a zjistit divácký ohlas v dané etapě. Stejně tak si klade za cíl definovat kluby či spolky, pod jejichž záštitou se koncerty jazzové hudby mohly odehrávat.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on description of the Opavian jazz scene in 90's, specifically 1989-2000. The aim was to define the environment in which the jazz scene was developed, describe the bands and personalities who had the opportunity to develop here and found out the response of the spectators in this period. The aim was also describe the clubs and associations under whose auspices these concerts could take place.
