Adults´ motivation to lifelong learning

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je vymezit problémy motivace dospělých k celoživotnímu vzdělávání, zjistit úroveň vzájemné provázanosti jednotlivých faktorů, které ovlivňují chování jedinců a jejich jednání. Na základě teoretických znalostí z oblasti andragogiky, pedagogiky, psychologie a didaktiky byly stanoveny hypotézy a následně vytvořen výzkum, který ukázal výsledky jednotlivých součástí problematiky motivace. Zároveň byly vymezeny bariéry, které ve vzdělávání dospělých osob překážejí a určeny další faktory ovlivňující řešenou problematiku, mezi které můžeme zařadit věk, postavení na trhu práce a dosažené vzdělání jedinců.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to classify problems of adults´ motivation to lifelong learning, to discover a lever of a mutual interconnection of individual factors that influence individuals´ behaviour and their social action. Based on the theoretical knowledge from the field of andragogy, pedagogy, psychology and didactics, the hypotheses were set, followed by a research that revealed results of particular parts of the motivation issue. Simultaneously, there were set such barriers that cause problems in adults´ learning, and other factors determined, that influence the surveyed issue, such as age, position on the labour market and a highest education of the individuals.
