Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Grafický lis jako výtvarný objekt“ se zabývá zkou-máním možností tisku linorytu pomocí předmětů, které k takovému účelu nebyly vytvořeny. Na základě studia odborných zdrojů a experimentů s neautorskými předměty autor vytvořil tři nástroje, které jsou již pro tisk linorytu přímo určeny a jsou dominantou praktické části práce. V závěru vlastního bádání proběhla dílna v praxi, kde byly zkoumané metody a nástroje použity. Popis této dílny, proběhlých experimentů s předměty a rozboru studia odborných zdrojů je součástí teoretické části této práce.

Abstract:

Master's thesis "Printing press as an art object" explores the possibilities of linocut printing using objects that were not intended for such purpose. The thesis presents three instruments made by the author specifically for linocut printing. All were based on the author’s professional source study and experiments with non-author objects. These three author-made instruments take a dominant place in the practical part of the thesis. At the end of author’s research a workshop took place where various methods and tools from the thesis were used. The workshop description, conducted experiments and analysis of professional sources are all part of the theoretical part of the thesis.
