The quality of communication between parents and kindergarten

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá kvalitou komunikace mateřské školy, především učitelů s rodiči a je rozdělena na dvě části. Teoretická část bakalářské práce pojednává o pedagogické komunikaci, jejích funkcích, pravidlech, účastnících a cílech této komunikace. Stručně pojednává i o komunikaci sociální. Podrobněji se zabývá komunikací učitele mateřské školy s rodiči, převážně její kvalitou, komunikativními kompetencemi učitele, formami komunikace učitele s rodiči a sebereflexí učitele ve vztahu k této komunikaci. Cílem kvantitativního průzkumu v praktické části bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jak je hodnocena kvalita komunikace učitele s rodiči ve vybraných mateřských školách ve Frýdku-Místku. Hlavní cíl je rozčleněn na dílčí cíle, které se snaží zjistit, jak učitelé hodnotí kvalitu vlastní komunikace s rodiči a jak rodiče, jejichž děti navštěvují tyto mateřské školy, hodnotí kvalitu komunikace učitelů.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the quality of kindergarten communication, especially between teachers and parents, and it is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes pedagogical communication, its functions, rules, participants and the aims of this communication. It also briefly explains social communication. In more detail, it focuses on the communication between a kindergarten teacher and parents, mainly its quality, the communicative competences of a teacher, the forms of communication of a teacher with parents and self-reflection of a teacher in terms of this communication. The aim of the quantitative survey in the practical part of the thesis was to discover how the quality of communication of a teacher with parents in selected kindergarten in Frýdek-Místek was assessed. The main aim is divided into sub-aims which attempt to find how teachers assess the quality of their own communication with parents, and how parents whose children attend these kindergarten assess the quality of the communication of the teachers.
