Autonomní řídící systémy využívají různé druhy senzorů, aby snížily nejistotu pod kterou pracují. K poskytnutí informací ze senzorů jsou třeba různé zdroje, například energie, čas a komunikace. V naší práci se zabýváme diskrétními přechodovými systémy s různými módy pozorování. Každý pozorovací mód poskytuje různou informaci o stavech systému a je s nimi spjata různá nezáporná cena.
