ANALYSIS OF SELECTED SOLO COMPOSITIONS FOR TUBA AND THEIR COMPARISON

Abstract:
Ve své práci se věnuji rozborům vybraných sólových skladeb pro tubu. Díla, které jsem si pro bakalářskou práci vybral, jsou: Capriccio od Krysztofa Pendereckého, Alarum od Edwarda Gregsona, Encouters II od Williama Krafta a Triumph of the demon gods od Johna Stevense.Rozbor této sólové tvorby zahrnuje životopisy skladatelů, popis skladby, formální a harmonický rozbor.
Abstract:
In my bachelor thesis I focus on the analysis of selected solo compositions for Tuba. The compositions I chose are: Capriccio by Krysztof Penderecki, Alarum by Edward Gregson, Encouters II by William Kraft and Triumph of the demon gods by John Stevens. The analysis of this solo works include the composer's biography, description of composition, formal and harmonious analysis.
