The multidisciplinary management of a patient suffering from Guillain-Barré Syndrome with respiratory impairment: a clinical case

Abstract:

This thesis enters deals with the case of a young girl suffering from Guillain-Barré syndrome. Finding herself quickly bedridden, a 360-degree rehabilitation process begins which will last for months, finally going towards a marked improvement compared to the initial situation. The treatment plan mainly provided for the use of therapeutic exercise preceded by motor image, which proved to be very useful. The pathology, extremely complex and still not too well known, has been addressed in every field through a rich scientific background and a detailed physiotherapy rehabilitation plan

Abstract:

Questa tesi si occupa del caso di una giovane ragazza affetta dalla sindrome di Guillain-Barré. Trovatasi rapidamente costretta a letto comincia un percorso riabilitativo a 360 gradi che si protrarr? per mesi andando infine verso un netto miglioramento rispetto alla situazione iniziale. Il piano di trattamento ha previsto principalmente l'utilizzo di esercizio terapeutico preceduto da immagine motoria, che si ? rivelato molto utile. La patologia, estremamente complessa e ancora non troppo conosciuta, ? stata affrontata in ogni campo attraverso un ricco background scientifico ed un dettagliato piano di riabilitazione fisioterapico.
