Analysis of concepts of the talent management in the manufacturing organization by the view of process participants

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou pojetí talent managementu ve výrobní organizaci pohledem účastníků procesu. Talent management v mnou zkoumaném podniku je součástí dlouhodobé personální strategie organizace. Přesto se domnívám, že tak, jak je dnes nastaven, nereflektuje zcela potřeby jednotlivých účastníků procesu. Cílem této práce je proto na základě teoretických východisek identifikovat možné nedostatky v jednotlivých fázích procesu TM z pohledu účastníků procesu. V první kapitole se věnuji krátkému definování základních pojmů, následně uvádím čtenáře do popisu problému v organizaci ABC. V teoretické části se zabývám tématem v jeho obecné rovině, popisuji zde jednotlivé fáze procesu talent managementu. Za pomocí odborné literatury formuluji obecné očekávání do výzkumu. Poslední teoretická část práce je vyčleněna tématu genderové diverzity. Empirická část je členěna dle jednotlivých fází procesu talent managementu. Zabývá se de facto interpretací jednotlivých identifikovaných nedostatků prostřednictvím empirických indikátorů v organizaci ABC. Cílem zpřesnit identifikované nedostatky z teoretické části co do rozsahu a obsahu (intenzity a závažnosti). Na závěr je uvedeno několik obecných doporučení, která by mohla pomoci zkvalitnit stávající proces TM v organizaci ABC.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the concept of talent management in the production organization through the view of participants in the process. Talent management in my business is part of the organization's long-term staffing strategy. Nevertheless, I think that, as it is set up today, it does not fully reflect the needs of the individual participants in the process. The aim of this thesis is therefore based on the theoretical basis to identify possible shortcomings in the various stages of the TM process from the point of view of the participants in the process. In the first chapter I deal with a short definition of basic concepts, and then introduce the reader to the description of the problem in the ABC organization. In the theoretical part I deal with the topic in its general level, I describe the individual phases of the talent management process. Using specialized literature, I formulate general expectations for research. The last theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the topic of gender diversity. The empirical part is structured according to the individual phases of the talent management process. It deals with the de facto interpretation of individual identified shortcomings through empirical indicators in the ABC organization. The aim is to refine the identified shortcomings from the theoretical part in terms of scope and content (intensity and severity). Finally, there are some general recommendations that could help improve the current TM process in ABC.
