Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem Design jako nástroj konkurenceschopnosti ve společnosti Profil nábytek pojednává o využití designu ke zvyšování přidané hodnoty výrobků a zlepšování pozice nábytkářské firmy na trhu. Práce obsahuje rozsáhle vymezení pojmu designu v rámci historického kontextu a ekonomického přínosu pro podniky. Dále objasňuje obor design management, díky kterému lze dosáhnout správného řízení v organizaci a docílit tak úspěšné implementace designu do obchodních a produkčních činností. V praktické části dochází k porovnání dvou nábytkářských firem a představuje jejich strategii spolupráce s designéry a celkový vývojový proces produktů. Následuje vymezení problematiky zacházení designu ve vybrané společnosti a na základě poznatků z celé práce je vytvořena strategie pro zapojování designéru do výroby a několik doporučení pro implementaci designu do firemních činností společnosti Profil nábytek.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis “Design as an instrument of competitiveness” in Profil Furniture company talks about use of design for increasing value added from the product and making better position for furniture companies on the marketplace. The thesis includes definition of the term “design” in historical context and economic benefits for firms. Then it clarifies the branch design management, which is responsible for achieving the right leadership in the organization and attaining a successful implementation of de-sign in the trade and production. Practical part of this bachelor thesis consists of the comparison of two furniture companies and introducing their cooperation strategy with designers and total product development. After that comes to defining design treatment issue in a selected company and a few recommendations for design implementation in the business activities for company Profil Furniture. Last but not least, the strategy for engaging designers in a production, based on the knowledge of the whole thesis, is made.
