The quality of life of dancers with physical disabilities

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem kvality života tanečníků s tělesným postižením. Cílem práce bylo zjistit míru subjektivně vnímané kvality života osob s tělesným postižením, věnující se pravidelně tanci na vozíku. Výzkumný soubor tvořili tanečníci s tělesným postižením věnující se tanci na vozíku na území České republiky. Dotazníkového šetření se zúčastnilo 18 osob ve věku od 17 do 70 let. V této práci byl využit dotazník životní spokojenosti SWLS a dotazník kvality života WHOQOL-BREF. Z analýzy výsledků dle dotazníku SWLS byla naměřena mírná spokojenost u všech respondentů. U dotazníku WHOQOL-BREF byly výsledky vnímání kvality života dobré. Naopak subjektivní zdraví bylo hodnoceno spíše průměrně. Dle jednotlivých oblastí dotazníku WHOQOL-BREF mají tanečníci s tělesným postižením nejvyšší kvalitu v oblasti prožívání. Druhá je oblast prostředí, za kterou následovala oblast sociálních vztahů. Nejnižší kvalita byla naměřena u poslední oblasti, týkající se fyzického zdraví

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the topic of the quality of life of dancers with physical disabilities. The aim of the work was to find out the degree of subjectivity in the quality of life of people with physical disabilities, who regularly dance in wheelchairs. The sample of respondents consisted of dancers with physical disabilities who are being part of wheelchair dancing in the Czech Republic. To the survey which was part of this work attended 18 people aged between 17 to 70 years. The SWLS life satisfaction questionnaire and the WHOQOL-BREF quality of life questionnaire were used in this work. From the analysis of the results of the SWLS questionnaire, a slight satisfaction was measured for all respondents. In the case of the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, the results of quality of life were evaluated as good. On the contrary, subjective health was evaluated rather on average. According to the individual areas of the WHOQOL-BREF questionnaire, dancers with physical disabilities have the highest quality in the field of experiencing. As a second choice was statistically stated the area of the environment, followed by the area of social relations. The highest quality was stated for the last area related to physical health.
