Shared mobility in Prague and prerequisites for its development

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnocení aktuální situace se sdílenou mobilitou v Praze a posouzení perspektiv vývoje. V teoretické části práce jsou rozebraný definice, přímo související se sdílenou mobilitou. Následně jsou porovnané carsharing а osobní individuální doprava (vlastní auto). Praktická část je věnovaná sdílené mobilitě v Praze a to zejména carsharingu. Zaprvé jsou analyzovány firmy, které provozují carsharing v Praze. Zadruhé je provedeno dotazníkové šetření mezi obyvateli Prahy. Přínosem dané práce je syntéza teoretických sekundárních poznatků z odborných článků zahraničních autorů na téma sdílené mobility a praktických primárních dat získaných pomoci webových stránek společností, provozujících carsharing v Praze, recenzí vybraných firem na Google, dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo mezi obyvateli Prahy a osobní e-mailové komunikaci s ředitelem družstva Autonapůl. Sesbíraná data umožnili porozumět situace se sdílenou mobilitou v Praze a nastínit předpoklady dalšího vývoje.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the current situation with shared mobility in Prague and assess the development perspectives. In the theoretical part of the thesis definitions related to shared mobility are discussed. Furthermore, carsharing and personal individual transport (own car) are compared. The practical part is devoted to shared mobility in Prague, especially carsharing. Firstly, companies that operate carsharing in Prague are analysed. Secondly, a questionnaire survey is conducted among the residents of Prague. The contribution of this work is the synthesis of theoretical secondary knowledge from academic articles by foreign authors on the topic of shared mobility and practical primary data obtained with the help of websites of companies operating carsharing in Prague, reviews of selected companies on Google, a questionnaire survey conducted among Prague residents and personal e-mail communication with the director of the Autonapůl cooperative. The collected data made it possible to understand the situation with shared mobility in Prague and outline the assumptions for further development.
