Lone Wolf activity as a tool of neonazi terrorism

Abstract:

The submitted bachelor thesis deals with the occurrence and issue of lone wolves in the environment of neo-Nazis, when it will be pointed out the danger of this connection and the need to adequately prepare for it on the part of the security system. The aim of the thesis is to find similarities and differences in the most famous cases of lone wolf terrorism from neo-Nazi environment by comparing given cases. Furthermore, the purpose of the thesis is to familiarize the public with the issue and appeal to the importance of its solution and the need to prepare for this type of terrorism. The theoretical part will deal with the phenomena of the lone wolf within terrorism and neo-Nazism, the history and reason of this connection, groups of modern neo-Nazism, their propaganda and methods of radicalization, the most famous cases and ways of operation of these groups and individuals. In the practical part, qualitative research will be evaluated using the case study method, where by comparing lone wolf attacks from the environment of neo-Nazism and extremism, differences and similarities in predetermined criteria will be evaluated by analogy. The research question will be what common characteristics and aspects of the cases are carried by the actors of the neo-Nazi lone wolf terrorism.

Abstract:

Predložená Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá výskytom a problematikou osamelých vlkov v prostredí neonacistov, kedy bude poukázane na nebezpečnosť tohoto spojenia a potrebou sa naň adekvátne pripraviť zo strany bezpečnostného systému. Ciele prace je nájsť podobnosti a rozdiely v najznámejších prípadoch lone wolf terorizmu z neonacistického prostredia pomocou komparácií daných prípadov. Ďalej účelom práce je oboznámiť z danou problematikou verejnosť a apelovať na dôležitosť jej riešenia a potrebu prípravy na daný druh terorizmu. Teoretická časť sa bude zaoberať fenoménmi osamelý vlk v rámci terorizmu a neonacizmom, históriou a dôvodom tohoto spojenia, skupinami novodobého neonacizmu, ich propagandou a spôsobmi radikalizácie, najznámejšími prípadmi a spôsobmi operovanie týchto skupín i jednotlivcov. V praktickej časti bude vyhodnotený kvalitatívny výskum metódou prípadovej štúdie kedy komparáciou útokov osamelých vlkov z prostredia neonacizmu a extrémizmu budú analógiou vyhodnotene rozdiely a podobnosti v predom stanovených kritériách .Výskumnou otázkou bude aké spoločné vlastnosti a aspekty prípadov nesú aktéri neonacistického lone wolf terorizmu.
