Comparing biological sequences in order to predict structure and function of proteins
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci představujeme program schopný ohodnotit úspěšnost metod porovnávání sekvencí podle jejich schopnosti popisovat funkční a strukturní podobnosti. Informace o těchto funkčních a strukturních podobnostech čerpáme z databází PDB, CATH, SCOP a Gene Ontology.
Abstract:
In this bachelor thesis we introduce a program which is able to assign a level of significance to sequence comparing methods according to their ability to express functional and structural similiarities. We gather information about these similiarities from databases such as PDB, CATH, SCOP and Gene Ontology.
