Synthesis of bimetallic nickel based nanoparticles

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se věnuje nanoslitinám na bázi niklu, jejich syntéze, separaci a charakterizaci. Teoretická část se zabývá rešerší literárních dat o syntéze a možnými aplikacemi binárních nanoslitin niklu. Experimentální část práce je věnována syntéze nanočástic slitin PtNi a AuNi. K přípravě nanočástic byly zvoleny dvě varianty solvotermální syntézy, a to vysokoteplotní solvotermální syntéza v oleylaminu a oktadecenu v inertní atmosféře a solvotermální syntéza v autoklávu v N,N-dimethylformamidu za nižší teploty. Sledován byl vliv rozpouštědla, času syntézy, teploty a dílčích úprav provedení syntézy na složení a stabilitu připravených nanočástic. Charakterizace nanočástic byla provedena metodami dynamického rozptylu světla (DLS), rentgenové difrakce (XRD) a elektronové mikroskopie.

Abstract:

This master’s thesis deals with nickel-based nanoalloys, their synthesis, separation and characterization. The theoretical part focuses on the research of literature data on synthesis and possible applications of binary nickel based nanoalloys. The experimental part is devoted to the synthesis of PtNi and AuNi nanoalloys. For the preparation of these nanoparticles, two variants of the solvothermal synthesis were chosen, namely a high-temperature solvothermal synthesis in oleylamine and octadecene in an inert atmosphere, and a solvothermal synthesis done at lower temperature in an autoclave with N,N-dimethylformamide used as a solvent. The focus was on effects of used solvents, synthesis time, temperature and other specific modifications of the synthesis on the composition and stability of prepared nanoparticles. The characterization of nanoparticles was done by the methods of dynamic light scattering (DLS), X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and electron microscopy.
