Analysis of the Czech school inspectorate's test tasks focused on nature-science literacy

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou testových úloh poskytnutých Českou školní inspekcí zaměřených na přírodovědnou gramotnost. Z poskytnutých testových úloh se dále v práci pracovalo jen s testovými úlohami, které se alespoň malou částí týkají předmětu zeměpis. Vybrané testové úlohy byly analyzovány z hlediska počtu oborů, ke kterým přísluší, z hlediska počtu kroků, které vedou k jejich vyřešení a z hlediska úrovní Bloomovy taxonomie, do které jednotlivé úlohy spadají. Úlohy byly následně rozřazeny do jednotlivých skupin - podle počtu oborů, podle počtu kroků a podle úrovně Bloomovy taxonomie. Spolu s testovými úlohami byly získány i výsledky testovaných žáků, podle kterých se poté vypočítala procentuální úspěšnost každé testové úlohy. Bylo zjištěno, že počet oborů, stejně jako počet kroků, nemají vliv na výslednou úspěšnost řešení úloh. Z hlediska Bloomovy taxonomie spadalo nejvíce úloh na úroveň syntézy, ale nejnižší procentuální úspěšnost měly úlohy, které vyžadovaly od žáků analýzu. Následně bylo zjištěno, že není možné jednoznačně určit, zda zvyšující se úroveň Bloomovy taxonomie má vliv na úspěšnost řešení.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with the analysis of the Czech school inspectorate's test tasks focused on scientific literacy. From all the received tasks, there were selected only the tasks connected even to the small extent to the geography. The selected test tasks were analysed from the point of view of number of subjects they belong to, from the point of view of number of steps which leads to solving the tasks and from the point of view of levels of Bloom's taxonomy. Afterwards, the test tasks were divided into particular groups - according to the number of subjects, the number of steps and the level of Bloom's taxonomy. Together with the test tasks, the results of the tested pupils were received, according to which the percentage success rate of each individual test task was calculated. It was found out that the number of the subjects same as the number of the steps does not affect the final success rate of the tasks´ solution. From the point of view of Bloom's taxonomy, most tasks were on the level of the synthesis, but the lowest success rate had the tasks that required the analysis by the pupils. Eventually, it was found out that it cannot be unequivocally stated whether the raising level of Bloom's taxonomy affects the success rate of the test tasks´ solution.
