Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá rozdielmi medzi knižnou predlohou Pána Prsteňov a jej filmovou adaptáciou, ktorú spracoval novozélandský režisér Peter Jackson. V prvých kapitolách vysvetľuje pojmy ako "adaptácia", "charakterový oblúk", "expozícia" či "štruktúru príbehu o troch dejstvách". Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with differences between the J. R. R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and its silver screen adaptation by a New Zealand director Peter Jackson. In its firs chapters, the thesis defines terms like "adaptation", "character arc", "exposition" and " the three-act structure".
