Communication Activities of Web Sites/Web Portals

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma: Komunikační aktivity webových stránek / webových portálů, se bude zabývat možnostmi, jaké webové stránky / webové portály mají a využívají při komunikaci se svými návštěvníky. V posledním desetiletí je internet stále více využíván jak obyvatelstvem, tak podnikatelskými subjekty. Zejména firmy cítí potřebu kvalitních internetových prezentací, které disponují aktuálními informacemi, kvalitním technickým řešením a jsou použitelné jako nástroj marketingu a komunikace. Jednou ze základních otázek pro firmy zůstává, jak rozsáhlou internetovou prezentaci mít. Na internetu dnes najdeme stránky firem z různých oblastí podnikání. Jejich rozsah a kvalita se však rapidně liší. Od jednoduchých statických prezentací, které zahrnují základní informace o firmě, jejím působení a kontaktech, až po obrovská interaktivní portálová řešení, kde firmy uveřejňují různé novinky, informace o produktech, nabízejí návštěvníkům možnost registrace pro odběr newsletterů nebo do zákaznické zóny. Zlaté pravidlo, že méně znamená více se uplatňuje i u webových stránek. Je důležité zvážit rozsah vhodné internetové prezentace. Rozsáhlá internetová prezentace, musí být pravidelně aktualizována, kreativně ztvárněna, musí lákat návštěvníky k opakovanému příchodu. Diplomová práce bude popisovat a zkoumat komunikační aktivity, které webové stránky a portály využívají pro komunikaci s návštěvníky, doporučovat různé kombinace a propojení těchto aktivit s důrazem na dosažení co nejvyššího efektu - získání co možná největší návštěvnosti, případně co největšího počtu registrovaných uživatelů služeb, kupujících, atd. V diplomové práci využiji vlastní zkušenosti z práce ve web-design studiu, zkušenosti získané dlouholetou komunikací s celou řadou klientů na téma tvorby internetové prezentace, jejího provozu a použití jako podpory marketingové komunikace. Při zkoumání se zaměřím jak na internetové prezentace osob a firem, tak na portálová řešení, a to v prostředí českého internetu. Z každého výše uvedeného okruhu vyberu několik reprezentantů, na nichž demonstruji možnosti a úskalí spojená s využitím internetové prezentace jako nástroje marketingu a komunikace.

Diploma thesis: Communication activities website / web portal, will address the possibilities, what web sites / web portals have and use when communicating with their visitors. In the last decade, the Internet is increasingly used in both population and business entities. In particular, the companies feels the need for quality online presentations that have current information, high-quality technical solutions and can be used as a tool for marketing and communications. One of the key issues for companies is how extensive internet presence have to have. On Internet sites, we find companies in various areas of business to day. Their scope and quality are dramatically different. From simple static presentations, which include basic information about the company, its activities and contacts to the vast interactive portal solutions, where the company publishes a variety of news, information about products, offers visitors the opportunity to register for a newsletter or a customer zone. The golden rule that less is more applies even web pages. It is important to consider the appropriate scope of the website. Extensive online presentation must be updated regularly, creatively designed and have to entice repeat visitors to the arrival. This thesis will describe and examine the communication activities that websites and portals used for communication with visitors, recommending various combinations and linking these activities with an emphasis on achieving the greatest possible effect - getting the greatest possible attendance, or the largest possible number of registered service users, buyers etc. The thesis will use my own experience working in web-design studio experience a long road with many clients on the topic of website, its operation and use as a marketing communications support. In the examination will focus both on the website people and companies as well as on portal solutions, and the environment in the Czech Internet. For each of the above will select several of representatives, where I demonstrate the possibilities and pitfalls associated with using the website as a tool for marketing and communications.
