This master thesis examines Biblical idioms in both German and Czech language. The thesis is devided in two parts. Diplomová práce se zabývá biblickými frazémy v německém a českém jazyce. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Teoretická část popisuje frazeologii jako lingvistickou disciplínu, definuje a klasifikuje frazémy a popisuje jejich znaky.
