Anotace:

Diplomová práce „Výtvarná kultura německé Moravy v letech 1909 až 1914. Její reflexe v časopise Österreichs illustrierte Zeitung a Mitteilungen des Erzherzog Rainer-Museums für Kunst und Gewerbe“ se zabývá články vídeňského časopisu Österreichs illustrierte Zeitung, kterými reflektoval výtvarnou kulturu na Moravě od roku 1909 do 1914. Konkrétně tedy vychází z článku o malířovi Hugo Baarovi a čtyř článků o uměleckých výstavách, z nichž dvě se konaly v Moravské Ostravě a dvě pořádal umělecký spolek Vereinigung deutsch-mährischer bildender Künstler v Brně. Článek o Hugo Baarovi a dvou výstavách je porovnán s články v brněnském časopise Mitteilungen des Erzherzog Rainer-Museums für Kunst und Gewerbe. V souvislosti se spolkem Vereinigung deutsch-mährischer bildender Künstler se tato diplomová práce zabývá i jeho členy, německými umělci, které označuje jako „moravští němečtí výtvarní umělci“. Z informací získaných z uvedených článků se snaží podat komplexnější zprávu o výtvarné kultuře německé Moravy let 1909 až 1914.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis entitled „Visual art and culture of German Moravia between 1909 and 1914. Its reflection in the journal Österreichs illustrierte Zeitung and Mitteilungen des Erzherzog Rainer-Museums für Kunst und Gewerbe“ deals with selected articles of the journal Österreichs illustrierte Zeitung (published in Vienna) that provide critical reflection of visual culture in Moravia from 1909 to 1914. The thesis specifically focuses on an article about painter Hugo Baar and on four articles devoted to art exhibitions, two of which were held in Moravská Ostrava and another two held by the art circle Vereinigung deutsch-mährischer bildender Künstler in Brno. The articles about Hugo Baar and the two exhibitions in Moravská Ostrava are compared with articles in the journal Mitteilungen des Erzherzog Rainer-Museums für Kunst und Gewerbe (published in Brno). With respect to the art circle Vereinigung deutsch-mährischer bildender Künstler the thesis also deals with its members, German artists, who are termed as „Moravian German Artists“. From information obtained from these articles the thesis attempts to provide a comprehensive report on the visual culture of German Moravia between 1909 and 1914.
