Skills development of the users with mental and combined disability in the socio-therapeutic workshop

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá konkrétními dovednostmi uživatelů s mentálním a kombinovaným postižením a činnostmi pomáhajících pracovníků v dané sociálně terapeutické dílně prováděnými za účelem rozvoje vybraných dovedností. Autorka si v rámci diplomové práce klade za cíl odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku, která zní: Jak jsou rozvíjeny dovednosti uživatelů s mentálním a kombinovaným postižením v rámci činností ve vybrané sociálně terapeutické dílně? Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na popis základních pojmů, jako jsou osoby se zdravotním, respektive s mentálním a kombinovaným postižením, jejich specifika a postavení. Dále je vysvětlen pojem sociálně terapeutická dílna a pomáhající pracovník. Vymezeny jsou také dovednosti, jejichž rozvoj si vybraná sociálně terapeutická dílna klade za cíl. Metodická část práce popisuje zvolenou metodu výzkumu a podmínky a průběh empirického zkoumání. Interpretací zjištěných informací v oblasti rozvoje dovedností uživatelů sociálně terapeutické dílny se zabývá empirická část diplomové práce. V rámci výzkum bylo zjištěno, že dovednosti uživatelů ve vybraných oblastech jsou velmi individuální. Zároveň jsou rozvíjeny rozličnými činnostmi pomáhajících pracovníků jako např. videotréninkem, muzikoterapií, arteterapií, nácviky modelových situací nebo pracovními aktivitami na zahradě či v keramické dílně. V závěru práce bylo shrnuto několik doporučení pro praxi, která mohou být inspirací pro pracovníky sociálně terapeutické dílny.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the specific skills of the users with mental and combined disability and development activities of helping professions in the socio-therapeutic workshop. The aim of the thesis is to answer the research question: How the skills of users with mental and combined disability are developed through the work of helping professions in a selected socio-therapeutic workshop? The theoretical part is focused on description of the basic concepts, such as persons with disability, or with mental and combined disability, their specifics and social status. The work defines the concept of socio-therapeutic workshop and helping profession and mentions the skills, which a particular socio-therapeutic workshop tries to develop. The methodical part of the diploma thesis describes the research method, the conditions and the course of empirical research. The empirical part interprets received informations in sphere of the skills development of the users in the socio-therapeutic workshop. Through the research it was found that the skills of the users are very individual in the selected areas. Skills are developed through various activities of helping professions, for example video training, art therapy, music therapy, training of model situations or work activities in the garden or in the ceramic workshop. The conclusion of this diploma thesis makes recommendations for practise of helping professions in the socio-therapeutic workshop.
