The Great French Revolution during Jacobin Terror

Abstract:

Velká francouzská revoluce, propukla v roce 1789 důsledkem finanční a agrární krize, se kterou se Francie potýkala. Během revoluce získali velký vliv radikální jakobíni, kteří se podíleli na pádu monarchie a vyhlášení Francie republikou dne 21. září 1792. Byli nejmocnějšími poslanci revolučního parlamentu a z jejich iniciativy byl začátkem roku 1793 popraven sesazený král Ludvík XVI. V červnu 1793 nastolili jakobíni diktaturu a v říjnu téhož roku legalizovaly teror, jako prostředek k odstranění všech, kdo nesouhlasili s jejich režimem. Během teroru bylo popraveno více než 16 500 lidí a skončil až popravou Maximiliena Robespierra v červenci 1794.

Abstract:

The Great French Revolution began in 1789 as a consequence of financial and agricultural crisis that France was enduring. Radical Jacobins gained substantial influence during this period and, they also participated in Fall of the monarchy and declaration of French republic, which happened 21st September 1792. They were the most powerful members of the revolutionary parliament and from their own initiative had at the beginning of 1793 King Louis XVI executed. In June 1793 Jacobins established dictatorship and in October of the same year they legalized Reign of Terror as a tool to remove those that didn?t agree with the regime. During this period more then 16 500 people were executed and it ended when Maxmilien Robespierre was executed in July 1794.
