Anotácia:

Tato bakalářská práce s názvem “Jedinečnost a modernost postavy Sherlocka Holmese: Komparativní analýza” se zabývá osobností Sherlocka Holmese. Cílem práce je srovnávací analýzou ukázat jedinečnost a modernost charakterových vlastností Sherlocka Holmese a jeho vědeckých metod pomocí příkladů z originálního textu knihy A Study in Scarlet, jejímž autorem je Arthur Conan Doyle, a ztvárnění postavy v epizodě “A Study in Pink” televizního seriálu BBC Sherlock (2010-), jehož scénáristy jsou Steven Moffat a Mark Gatiss.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis “Uniqueness and Modernity of the Character of Sherlock Holmes: A Comparative Analysis” deals with the character of Sherlock Holmes. The aim of the thesis is to describe his uniqueness and modernity through the analysis and comparison of similarities and/or differences in Sherlock Holmes’s character traits and his scientific methods with the examples from the original book A Study in Scarlet written by Arthur Conan Doyle, and the portrayal of the character in the episode “A Study in Pink” of the BBC Television series Sherlock (2010- ) written by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.
