Brewing development and its influence on the economy of a selected locality

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem pivovarnictví a jeho vlivem na ekonomiku vybraného místa, konkrétně Prahy 1, v období 2016 až 2021. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat pivovarnictví Prahy 1 v letech 2016 až 2021 a posoudit vlivy koronavirové pandemie a vlivu pivovarnictví na dané místo. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí: teoretické, analytické a návrhové. V teoretické části je popsán vývoj pivovarnictví od počátku až do dnešní doby. Dále se věnuji vysvětlení kategorizace pivovarů, makroekonomických ukazatelů a pandemii COVID-19. Analytická část je věnována charakteristice Prahy a její části Praha 1, analýze pivovarnictví této pražské části a vlivu pandemické doby na pivovarnictví. Poslední část návrhová je z důvodu neočekávanosti pandemie věnována po pandemické podpoře místního pivovarnictví formou aplikace s virtuální mapou.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with brewing development and its influence on the economy of a selected locality, specifically Prague 1, during the period of 2016 to 2021. The aim of the thesis is to analyze brewing in Prague 1 from 2016 to 2021 and assess the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the impact of brewing on the given location. The thesis is divided into three main parts: theoretical, analytical, and proposal. The theoretical part describes the development of brewing from the beginning to the present day. I also explain the categorization of breweries, macroeconomic indicators, and the COVID-19 pandemic. The analytical part is devoted to the characterization of Prague and its part, Prague 1, analysis of brewing in this Prague part and the impact of the pandemic on brewing. The last proposal part is devoted, due to the unexpected pandemic, to post-pandemic support for local brewing in the form of an application with a virtual map.
