Synthesis of new inhibitors of the enzyme FEN1

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci jsme se zaměřili na flap endonukleázu 1 a na přípravu inhibitorů tohoto enzymu. Flap endonukleáza 1 je enzym účastnící se mnoha metabolických procesů v buňce. Myšlenka využití inhibitorů tohoto enzymu v protinádorové terapii vychází z předpokladu, že nádorové buňky se také musí dělit a účinně opravovat. Pokud dojde k poškození buňky, uplatní se opravné mechanizmy, jejichž potlačení způsobí smrt buňky. V této práci je na teoretické úrovni popsán tento enzym a syntéza dvou inhibitorů.

Abstract:

In this work, we focused on flap endonuclease 1 and the preparation of inhibitors of this enzyme. Flap endonuclease 1 enzyme is involved in many metabolic processes in the cell. The idea of using this enzyme inhibitors in anticancer therapy is based on the assumption that tumor cells must also divide and effectively repair. If damage occurs to the cells, repair mechanisms are activated and their suppression results in cell death. This thesis describes on the theoretical level this enzyme and synthesis of two inhibitors.
