Traces of German culture in own region based on examples from the newspaper "Der treudeutsche Hultschiner"

Abstract:

The master thesis is focused on the research of evidences of German culture in the Hlučín area on the example of Der treudeutscher Hultschiner magazine. The survey is based on fifteen copies of the magazine obtained from sources of Provincial Archives of Opava (Zemský archiv Opava). The magazine was published by Reichsverband heimatliebender Hultschiner association and the aim of the research is to find out, by whom it was founded and funded, who was a member of the association, which type of texts were contributed by its members to the magazine and what was the purpose of it. Finally, the content of the articles and its thematic development in the period from 1922 to 1933 is analyzed.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována zkoumání stop německé kultury na Hlučínsku na příkladu časopisu Der treudeutscher Hultschiner. Výzkum je proveden na základě patnácti výtisků časopisu získaných ze zdrojů Zemského archivu Opava. Časopis byl vydáván spolkem Reichsverband heimatliebender Hultschiner a cílem výzkumu je dospět ke zjištění, kým byl založen a financován, kdo byl členem spolku, jakými texty do časopisu přispívali jeho členové a co bylo cílem jejich sdělení. V práci je analyzován obsah článků a jejich tematický vývoj v období od roku 1922 do roku 1933.
