Relationship between a teacher and a child in a nursery school

Abstract:

V teoretické části jsou popsány aspekty ovlivňující vztah učitele a dítěte v mateřské škole. Mezi těmito aspekty jsou uvedena specifika předškolního vzdělávání, potřeby dítěte, osobnost dítěte, osobnost učitele a vliv rodičů na kvalitu vztahu. Mezi specifika předškolního vzdělávání jsou řazeny zejména individuální potřeby a zvláštnosti dětí a specifika vzdělávání dětí předškolního věku. Potřeby dítěte jsou odvozeny od Maslowovy pyramidy potřeb, která je přizpůsobena potřebám dětí v mateřské škole. V učitelské profesi je důležité umět odhadnout osobnost dítěte a podle toho s ním pracovat. V bakalářské práci jsou popsány jednotlivé typy osobnosti dětí, které jsou stručně rozepsány a jsou zde uvedeny vhodné způsoby chování učitele k jednotlivým typům dětí. Dále je kladen důraz na první dny strávené v mateřské škole, které jsou důležité pro přijetí učitele v roli pedagoga a pro začlenění dítěte do kolektivu ostatních dětí. Ve vztahu učitele a dítěte hraje hlavní roli učitel. Učitel je ten, který vytváří klima třídy. Tomuto tématu je věnováno více pozornosti. Nejprve je zde uvedena struktura osobnosti učitele, která je následně rozepsána pomocí jednotlivých kategorií, upravených pro použití v pedagogické praxi. Dále jsou zohledněny role učitele, jeho povinnosti, kompetence a psychologické aspekty ovlivňující vztah učitele a dítěte. Vzhledem k dnešní době je zmíněno i prosociální chování pedagoga, které přispívá k vytvoření pohodové atmosféry ve třídě. Poslední uvedená podkapitola se zabývá základy komunikace, které jsou nezbytné pro srozumitelný kvalitní vztah mezi učitelem a dítětem. V poslední kapitole teoretické části je stručně zmíněn vliv rodičů na kvalitu popisovaného vztahu. V praktické části je za cíl pozorování zvoleno chování učitele v krizových a zátěžových situací a následný vliv jeho jednání na vztah mezi ním a dítětem. Jsou zde popsány tři situace, ve kterých je patrné ovlivnění vztahu mezi učitelem a dítětem v pozitivním i negativním směru. Situace jsou hodnoceny podle osmi kritérií. Tyto kritéria byla zvolena podle teoretické části. Praktická část potvrzuje nastudované teoretické poznatky. Pokud učitel působí na dítě pozitivně a využívá dostupných informací, je na správné cestě k vytvoření pozitivního vztahu mezi ním a dítětem.

Abstract:

The theoretical part describes the aspects affecting the relationship between a teacher and a child in a nursery school. Among this aspects, there are mentioned the specifics of the pre-school education, the child's needs, the personality of a child, the personality of a teacher and the parents' influence upon the relationship. Among the specifics of the pre-school education, above all there are classified the individual needs and the children's singularities and the specifics of pre-school children's education. The children's needs are derived from the Maslow's hierarchy of needs which is modified due to the needs of children in nursery school. For the teacher profession, it is important to be able to estimate the child's personality and to operate with the child due to this estimation. In the bachelor's thesis, there are briefly described the particular types of child's personalities and the suitable ways of a teacher's behaviour to the particular types of children. The first period in the kindergarten, which is very important for the teacher in the role of a pedagogue as well as for a child's integration into the collective of other children, is also emphasised. In the relationship between a teacher and a child, the teacher plays the major role. It is the teacher who creates the class atmosphere. A stronger attention is focused on such topic. First, there is mentioned the structure of the teacher's personality which is further classified into particular categories modified for the usage of the pedagogical profession. Next, the teacher's role, their duties, competency and the psychological aspects involving the relationship between a teacher and a child are described. With regard to the present, even the pedagogue's pro-social behaviour which supports the creating of calm and friendly atmosphere in the class is also mentioned. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, the parent's influence on the quality of the above mentioned relationship is described. In the practical part, the object of the observation is the teacher's behaviour in the critical and difficult situations as well as the resulting influence of his or her act on the relationship between the teacher and the child. There are mentioned three situations in which the positive as well as negative affection is visible. The situations are evaluated according to eight standards. These standards were selected due to the theoretical part. The practical part confirms the theoretical findings. If a teacher affects a child in a positive way and he or she employs the available information, this seem to be the right way for creating the positive relationship between him or her and the child.
