Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to create a basic business plan for establishing a winery with the focus on marketing, operations and the financial requirement of breaking even. The business plan should set out framework for the initial five-year period after the company enters the market. The theoretical part describes business plan in general, what is a business, and its types, why is it necessary to have a business plan, and who is a business plan intended for. Furthermore, it also describes the structure of a business plan. The practical part describes the establishing of the winery Pod Dubňanskú Horú, its marketing plan, operations plan, and financial standpoint.
