Russian-Georgian conflict in South Ossetia and potential role of the EU in its solution
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce ilustruje pozici Gruzie a roli dalších aktérů v jihokavkazském regionu. Dále mapuje kořeny a genezi jihoosetinského konfliktu v závislosti na politickém vývoji Gruzie. Text se snaží analyzovat potenciál EU při řešení konfliktu v Jižní Osetii na pozadí geopolitické situace Jižního Kavkazu a role Evropské unie v ní při zohlednění rozvoje vztahu Gruzie s EU v rámci EPS.
Abstract:
Bachelor's thesis illustrates the position of Georgia and the role of other actors in South Caucasus region. Work follows with monitoring roots and genesis of South Ossetian conflict in dependence on political development of Georgia.
