Evaluation of the Quality of Gravure Printing technique for Material Printing

Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca je zameraná na využitie hĺbkotlače v oblasti materiálovej tlače. V teoretickej časti je popísaná technológia hĺbkotlače, jej výhody aj nevýhody, tlačové formulácie využívané pre tlač funkčných vrstiev a ich elektrické vlastnosti. Ďalej sú v práci rozobrané jednotlivé parametre ovplyvňujúce kvalitu tlače a doterajšie dosiahnuté výsledky technológiou hĺbkotlače v danej aplikačnej oblasti. Experimentálna časť tejto práce pozostávala zo samotnej tlače na nátlačovom hĺbkotlačovom stroji, a z následného vyhodnotenia vytlačených vzoriek pomocou obrazovej analýzy a meraním elektrického odporu, pričom bol pozorovaný vplyv premenných parametrov tlače na jej výslednú kvalitu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on usage of gravure printing technique for printed electronics. In the theoretical part is described gravure printing technology, its advantages and disadvantages, printing materials used for printing functional layers and their electrical properties. This work also contains description of variable parametres of printig process affecting print quality, and past achievements of gravure printing technology for printed electronics. Experimental part of this work consists of print tests on a gravure printing proofer and the subsequent analysis of printed samples by image analysis and measurement of electrical resistance. Effect of variable print parameters on the final quality was observed.
