Epidural analgesia problem in conjunction with surgery

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku epidurální analgezie v souvislosti s operačním výkonem. Zabývá se okolnostmi operačního výkonu pacientů, u kterých byl v předoperačním období zaveden epidurální katétr. Zkoumá vliv bolesti a ostatních subjektivně vnímaných potíží na pacienta v pooperačním období. Hodnotí okolnosti mobilizace pacientů, ovlivněných zavedením epidurálního katétru. Výzkum se zabývá retrospektivní analýzou kompletní lékařské a sesterské dokumentace pacientů Nemocnice Jihlava. Diplomová práce je příspěvkem k prohloubení informací o efektivní metodě léčby akutní pooperační bolesti v rámci pracovišť ambulance bolesti.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the issues of epidural analgesia in conjunction with surgery. It deals with the circumstances of surgery for patients whom have been introduced an epidural catheter in the preoperative period. It examines the influence of pain and other subjective problems to the patients in the postoperative period. It evaluates the circumstances of mobilization of the patients, affected by the insertions of an epidural catheter. The research deals with a retrospective analysis of a complete medical and nursing records of patients in Hospital Jihlava. This thesis is a contribution to the deepening information about effective methods of treatment of acute postoperative pain within workplaces Acute Pain Service.
