The consequences of dysfunctional family upbringing and institutions

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo prozkoumat důsledky nefunkční výchovy v rodinách a institucích a na základě statistických údajů Policie České republiky zjistit, z jakého prostředí pocházejí děti, páchající trestnou činnost. Dílčím cílem práce bylo zjištění pohledu široké veřejnosti na problematiku náhradní péče. Práce má teoretickou a praktickou část. První část je teoretická a je rozdělena do tří kapitol. V první kapitole se zabývám rodinou obecně, jaké jsou její funkce, jaká je současná rodina a také zmiňuji klinické rodiny a sanaci rodiny. V druhé kapitole píši o náhradní péči, jaké jsou typy a jaké mýty a omyly jsou spojeny s dětskými domovy. Třetí kapitolu jsem věnovala příčinám kriminality dětí a mládeže, obzvláště pak rodině jako příčině kriminality dětí a mládeže. Druhou, praktickou část tvoří přehled a srovnání kriminality dětí a mládeže a výzkum zaměřený na pohled veřejnosti na problematiku náhradní rodinné a ústavní péče. Data ohledně kriminality dětí a mládeže byly poskytnuty Policii České republiky. Výzkumu zjišťující pohled veřejnosti na problematiku náhradní rodinné a ústavní péče se zúčastnilo 218 respondentů. Respondenti vyplňovali anonymní dotazník, který byl rozesílán pomocí přímého internetového odkazu. Srovnání dat kriminality dětí a mládeže ukázalo, že počet kriminálních činů od roku 2013 klesá, nejčastěji šlo v roce 2015 o majetkové činy a nejvíce trestných činů za sledované období konaly děti v Moravskoslezském kraji. Dále se ukázalo, že nejvíce dochází ke kriminalitě dětí v rodinách, kde jsou oba rodiče zaměstnaní a nejsou závislí na drogách alkoholu či hráčství a nejčastěji konají trestné činy děti pocházející z rodin. Výzkum zaměřený na dílčí cíl práce ukázal, že široká veřejnost je proti zrušení dětských domovů a je pro odebírání dětí z nefunkčních rodin. Také bylo zjištěno, že respondenti vnímají děti z dětských domovů stejně jako ostatní děti, ale myslí si, že páchají více trestných činů. Dále bylo například zjištěno, že se respondenti přiklání více k pěstounské péči než k dětským domovům.

Abstract:

The aim was to explore the consequences of dysfunctional upbringing in families and institutions and based on the statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic to determine what environment children lawbreakers come from. The operational objective was to determine the perspective of the general public on the issue of foster care. Work has both theoretical and practical part. The first part is theoretical and is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the family in general, what are its functions, what is the current family and also mentions the clinical families and a rehabilitation of the family. In the second chapter I write about alternative care, what types and how myths and misconceptions are associated with orphanages. The third chapter is devoted to the causes of juvenile crime, especially the family as a cause of juvenile delinquency. The second part consists of an overview and comparison of children and youth crime and a research focused on the public's view on the issue of foster and residential care. Data regarding juvenile crime were provided by the Police of the Czech Republic. Research ascertaining public view on the issue of foster and institutional care was attended by 218 respondents. Respondents filled out an anonymous questionnaire, which was distributed through a direct web link. Comparison of data juvenile crime showed that the number of crimes from 2013 declines, most frequent were the crimes against property in 2015 and the highest criminality is held by the children in the Moravia-Silesia Region. Furthermore, it appears that most crime occurs to children in families where both parents are employed and are not addicted to drugs or alcohol, gambling and most crimes are made by children coming from families. Research focused on sub-objective work showed that the general public is against the abolition of orphanages and is for the removal of children from dysfunctional families. It was also found that respondents perceive children from orphanages as well as other children, but they think that may commit more crimes. It was also found that respondents are more inclined to foster care than children's homes.
