Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou Jeruzaléma v kontextu izraelsko-palestinských vztahů. V první kapitole seznamuje čtenáře s významem judaismu, islámu a křesťanství a se vztahy k Jeruzalému. K pochopení současných problémů jsou důležité historické souvislosti, o kterých pojednává druhá kapitola se zaměřením na proměny politického a územního statusu Jeruzaléma v období od nadvlády Osmanské říše po sjednocení města Izraelem v roce 1967. Izraelská správa má toto město pod kompetencí dodnes, což je hlavním tématem kapitoly třetí. Ta vysvětluje postavení jeruzalémské správy k palestinským a izraelským občanům a především porovnává jejich rovnost v sektoru ekonomickém, demografickém i bezpečnostním. V poslední kapitole budou reflektované mírové rozhovory zaměřené na Jeruzalém jako na jednu z klíčových překážek v nastolení trvalého míru mezi Izraelem a palestinským obyvatelstvem. Na závěr tato práce objasňuje problémové body, na základně kterých navrhuje možná budoucí řešení izraelsko-palestinského konfliktu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with Jerusalem in Israel-Palestine relations. In the first chapter readers are getting acquainted with the meaning of Judaism, Islam and Christianity and their relations towards Jerusalem. For better understanding contemporary problems it is important to be familiar with historical connections which are disserted in the second chapter that also covers changes in political and territorial status of Jerusalem while it was predominated by the Ottoman Empire and united by Israel in 1967. The city is under Israel jurisdiction to this day which is the main theme of the third chapter. It explains the role of the Israel jurisdiction towards Palestine and Israel citizens and compares their equality in the economic, demographic and security sector. The last chapter contains reflected peace conferences which focus on Jerusalem as one of the key obstructions preventing them from establishing permanent peace between Israel and Palestine inhabitants. Lastly this thesis clarifies problem structures based on which it suggests possible future solutions of the Israel ? Palestine conflict.
