Functional methods of systmic therapy in context of intertility

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu zjistit, zda existují techniky systemické psychoterapie, které stojí za důležitými momenty v terapii klientek s tématem neplodnosti. Teoretická část práce se zabývá systemickou terapií jako takovou a jejími třemi hlavními směry, účinnými faktory v psychoterapii, neplodností a psychoterapií neplodnosti. Empirická část se soustředí na retrospektivní rozhovory s ženami, které s tématem neplodnosti terapii vyhledaly, a stejně tak na rozhovory s jejich terapeutkami. Výzkumný soubor tvořily čtyři klientky a jejich tři terapeutky. Pomocí Interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy dat byla z rozhovorů získána základní témata, popisující obtíže vedoucí k vyhledání terapeutické pomoci, očekávání od terapie, průběh terapie, nejdůležitější momenty v terapii a pociťované změny. Analýza rozhovorů s terapeutkami obohacuje témata o další použité techniky a nefunkční techniky. Výsledky analýzy jsou porovnány s teoretickým základem a aktuálním výzkumem této problematiky. Výsledkem diplomové práce je nalezení funkčních technik systemické terapie, jako je práce s příběhem, a funkčních technik, které jsou společné více terapeutickým stylům, na příklad terapeutický vztah, práce s emocemi a provázení. V závěru práce jsou pak probrány meze a limity tohoto výzkumu, spolu s možnostmi dalšího směřování.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is, using quality research, to find out if there are such techniques of systemic psychotherapy which stand behind important moments in the therapy of clients dealing with infertility. Theoretical part deals with systemic therapy and its principal courses, efficient factors of psychotherapy, infertility and psychotherapy of infertility. Empirical part of the thesis focuses on both retrospective interviews with women interested in the infertility therapy same as on interviews with their therapeutics. The research is applicated on four clients and their three therapeutics. Interpretative phenomenological data analyses is using to obtain basic theme describing inconveniences leading to seeking for therapeutic help, therapy expectations and its process, the most important moments of the therapy and experiences´ changes. The analysis of interviews with therapeutics enrichs the theme with other applied as well as non-functioning technics. Results of the analysis are compared with theoretical base and with present research of the issue. The outcome of the thesis is finding of functional methods of systemic therapy as a work with the story, and also those functional methods communal for more therapeutic styles, for instance therapeutic relationship, work with emotions and accompanying. In conclusion, limits of the research are discussed together with options of potential heading.
