Family support in the course of educational pathway from the female university students' perspective

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu vzestupné intergenerační vzdělanostní mobility. Práce má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Jejím cílem bylo zjistit, jakou podporu pociťují vysokoškolské studentky během své vzdělanostní dráhy ze strany své rodiny. Teoretická část se zabývá souvislostmi mezi vzděláním a společností a popisuje významné sociální okolí působící na jedince. Jádrem empirické části je kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, realizované technikou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s vysokoškolskými studentkami. V závěru empirické části jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on a the upward intergenerational educational mobility. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and empirical. The aim of this work is to show what kind of support do female university students feel in the course of their educational pathway from their families. Theoretical part is concerned with the connection between education and society and describes the significant social environment affecting the human being. The core of the thesis is a qualitative research implemented by technique of half-structured interview with female university students. The results of research are presented at the end of the empirical part.
