Local action groups and tourism in the Czech Republic and the Kingdom of Spain: a case study

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá rozvojem cestovního ruchu prostřednictvím zvolených místních akčních skupin v České republice a ve Španělsku. V teoretickém ukotvení práce jsou řešeny relevantní pojmy jako jsou aktéři venkova, místní akční skupiny a jejich činnosti, metoda LEADER a CLLD a následně cestovní ruch. Další část práce se věnuje srovnání cestovního ruchu v České republice a ve Španělsku a následně srovnání vybraných místních akčních skupin z hlediska turistické atraktivity území. Stěžejní kapitola práce se zabývá srovnáním přístupů MAS k rozvoji turismu, a to prostřednictvím analýzy strategického ukotvení podpory turismu, následně komunikace MAS na webových stránkách a sociálních sítích. Dále je také srovnána projektová podpora lokálních aktérů a vlastní projektová činnost. Závěrečná část práce podává klíčové zjištění rozdílů v přístupu MAS k podpoře turismu v řešeném území.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the development of tourism through selected local action groups in the Czech Republic and Spain. Relevant concepts such as rural actors, local action groups and their activities, the LEADER and CLLD method and subsequently tourism are addressed in the theoretical anchoring of the work. The next part of the work is devoted to the comparison of tourism in the Czech Republic and Spain and then the comparison of selected local action groups in terms of tourist attractiveness of the area. The main chapter deals with the comparison of LAG approaches to tourism development, through the analysis of the strategic anchoring of tourism support and subsequent LAG communication on websites and social networks. Furthermore, the project support of local actors and the project activity itself are also compared. The final part of the work provides a key finding of differences in the approach of the LAG to the support of tourism in the area.
