Předkládaná diplomová práce si klade za cíl poukázat vliv divadelního kritika a spisovatele Josefa Merhauta na soudobý kulturní a literární život v Brně. Kolekce obsahuje recepci divadelních kritik za období 1885 až 1891, které jsou spjaté s tehdejším Divadlem na Veveří. Abstract:
The presented thesis aims to find out what was the influence of theatre reviewer and writer Josef Merhaut on culture in Brno in the end of 19th century untill the 10´s of 20th century and even later decades. The fundamental part of the thesis consists suggested reception of theatre reviews in 80´s of 19th century (1885 - 1891) and suggested reception of Merhaut´s short story collections.
