Care of a woman with diagnosed congenital fetal anomaly

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na péči o ženy, u níž byla během těhotenství diagnostikována vrozená vývojová vada plodu. Teoretická část práce se věnuje charakteristice prenatálního období, přehledu nejčastějších vrozených vývojových vad plodu a možnostem jejich léčby. Součástí teoretické části je také přiblížení významu perinatální paliativní péče, která představuje důležitou formu podpory pro rodiče v případě závažné diagnózy plodu. Výzkumná část je pak zaměřena na zkušenosti žen s poskytovanou zdravotnickou péčí po sdělení diagnózy, dále také na roli partnera, kterou v této situaci zastává a na míru informovanosti žen.

Abstract:

Bachelor's work focuses on the care of women whose fetus was diagnosed with a congenital anomalies during pregnancy. The theoretical part of the work deals with the characteristics of the prenatal period, an overview of the most common congenital developmental defects of the fetus, and the possibilities of their treatment. The theoretical section also introduces the importance of perinatal palliative care, which represents an important form of support for parents in the case of a serious fetal diagnosis. The practical part focuses on women's experiences with the healthcare provided after the diagnosis was communicated, as well as on the role of the partner in this situation and the level of women's awareness and information.
