Debt Crisis versus Economic Growth and Stability Nexus

Abstract:

The main topic of this thesis is contemporary economical crisis, which can be defined as a special one. Since 2008 its evolution went through many periods and character changing’s from mortgage, financial, economic and deepened to whole world debt crisis. These stages have clarified in the following chapters. We describe the behavior of macroeconomic indicators during the crisis, which are directly traceable to monetary policy. We will focus on the analysis of public debt and the factors that affect the public debt. Here are your possible options for debt liquidation. On the final part lists possible recommendations that could be beneficial to reduce debt.

Abstract:

Hlavným motívom tejto diplomovej práce je súčasná hospodárska kríza, ktorá sa dá definovať ako špecifická. Svojím vývojom od roku 2008 prešla mnohými etapami a to od úverovej, finančnej, hospodárskej a prehĺbila sa až do dlhovej krízy celého sveta. Tieto etapy si ozrejmíme v nasledujúcich kapitolách. Popíšeme si aj správanie makroekonomických ukazovateľov v čase krízy, ktoré majú priamu nadväznosť na monetárnu politiku. Zameriame sa na analýzu verejného dlhu a faktory, ktoré majú vplyv na verejný dlh. Uvedieme si možné alternatívy likvidácie dlhu. Na záver práce uvedieme možné odporúčania, ktoré by mohli byť prospešné pre zníženie dlhu.
